Guidelines

DISCIPLINE & BEHAVIOURAL TRAINING

Presidency maintains a positive, structured and disciplined environment that supports academic success and personal growth.

  • Progress Reports are issued after every term examination
  • Parents are required to collect the report in person on the scheduled date
  • The report card must be returned with the parent’s signature within the given timeline
  • Loss or damage of the report card must be reported immediately to the school office

  • Parents may communicate with teachers through the school diary
  • For urgent matters, parents may visit the school office during working hours
  • Teachers should not be disturbed during class hours or outside school timings
  • All important updates will be shared through messages, diary notes, or official circulars
  • Respectful and polite communication is expected at all times

The school diary serves as an important communication link between the school and parents.

  • Parents must check the school diary every day
  • All homework, remarks, and notes sent by teachers must be signed by parents
  • Parents should carefully follow exam timetables, instructions, and circulars mentioned in the diary
  • Ensure that the student brings the school diary to school every day

Regular use of the diary helps parents stay informed and connected with their child’s daily school activities.

  • Ensure that your child wears the prescribed school uniform every day
  • Uniforms must be clean, well-ironed, and complete with proper shoes and socks
  • Hair should be neat—boys with short haircuts and girls with neatly plaited hair
  • Avoid fancy hairstyles, jewellery, perfumes, and unnecessary accessories
  • Encourage personal hygiene including trimmed nails, clean hands, and a tidy appearance

Good hygiene practices build confidence, promote good health, and create a positive learning environment.

  • Students must attend all tests, reviews, and examinations as scheduled
  • No leave will be granted during examination days except in cases of medical emergencies
  • A valid medical certificate must be submitted for prolonged illness or absence
  • Re-examinations will not be conducted for students absent during exams
  • For general leave, parents must submit a signed leave letter in advance
  • Parents are advised to avoid family trips or functions during school working days

Parents play a vital role in supporting their child’s learning at home. Simple daily practices can greatly enhance academic progress.

  • Create a calm, quiet, and distraction-free study environment at home
  • Encourage your child to follow a regular daily study timetable
  • Monitor homework completion and help revise lessons when needed
  • Encourage reading habits, regular practice, and curiosity for learning
  • Appreciate effort, consistency, and improvement rather than focusing only on marks

Your encouragement and involvement help build confidence and strengthen lifelong learning skills.

  • Students must be dropped off and picked up only at safe, designated points
  • Parents must inform the school in advance if someone else is authorised to pick up the child
  • Young children should not be sent to school alone for safety reasons
  • Punctuality must be maintained, as late arrivals disrupt classroom activities
  • Unnecessary absences should be avoided; regular attendance is essential for effective learning
  • Parents and students must maintain calm, order, and discipline at school gates during arrival and dismissal times

Safety is our highest priority—for every child, every day.
