Enquiry & School Visit: Parents may contact the school office or visit in person to understand the facilities and curriculum
Issuing Application Form: Admission forms can be collected from the school office during working hours
Submission of Application: Duly filled application forms must be submitted along with the required documents

Confirmation of Admission: Selected students will be notified and parents may proceed with the fee payment
Fee Payment & Admission Slip: Admission is confirmed only after fee payment and verification of documents
KG – Std VIII: Admission is based on age criteria, readiness, and interaction
Std IX – XII: Admission is based on the marks obtained in the previous class and availability of seats
Students transferring from other schools must submit a valid Transfer Certificate (TC)

Parents are required to submit the following documents at the time of admission:
Birth Certificate (original and photocopy)
Aadhaar Card of the student
Recent passport-size photographs of the student
Address proof of parents or guardians
Transfer Certificate (mandatory for Class II and above)
Previous year’s report card or mark sheet
Community Certificate (if applicable)
Medical fitness certificate (if required by the school)
Fee details can be obtained directly from the school office during working hours. The school follows a Fee Committee–approved fee structure in accordance with government norms and regulations.
Requests for Transfer Certificates must be submitted in writing at least one week in advance
The request must be signed by the father or by the mother if the father is no more
All outstanding fees and dues must be cleared before the Transfer Certificate is issued
Transfer Certificate requests will not be processed during examination days
Students leaving the school during the academic year are required to pay fees for the full academic year as per school rules
Presidency Higher Secondary School supports eligible students through various Government Scholarship Schemes. These scholarships are offered strictly as per Puducherry Government regulations to encourage inclusive and equitable education.
The school facilitates guidance and assistance for students who meet the eligibility criteria, ensuring that financial support reaches deserving candidates and helps them continue their education without interruption.
SC Scholarship: Applicable for students belonging to the Scheduled Caste category. Benefits include fee coverage or financial incentives as prescribed by government norms.
OBEC Scholarship (Other Backward Economically Category): Available for both boys and girls from Classes I to XII. Scholarship benefits vary based on class groups (I–V, VI–VIII, and IX–XII) as per government guidelines.
